  • Evidence #8: T-shirt found in Vapolts’ bed
  • Evidence #9: Carpet in Vapolts’ bedroom

Evidence Analysis Questions

  1. What species did you identify the Evidence #1 to be from? Using at least one structural/anatomical features, describe how you came to this conclusion. (You may wish to revisit the hair Softchalk)
  2. What species did you identify the Evidence #2 to be from? Using at least one structural/anatomical features, describe how you came to this conclusion.
  3. What species did you identify the Evidence #3 to be from? Using at least one structural/anatomical features, describe how you came to this conclusion.
  4. Based on the UV light test, which pieces of evidence contain body fluids? How did you reach this conclusion?

  6. Looking at the results of the DNA electrophoresis:

  7. Based on your evidence analysis, who is your prime suspect? Is this the same prime suspect that you had last week? Which pieces of evidence support your hypothesis for who the prime suspect is? Does any of this evidence refute this?
