Before completing the exercise, I had some sort of an idea of what the outcome would become. Loyalty is very important to me in my professional and personal life, and is something that I take very seriously. My strengths in building trust can include how easy it is to spot if someone is not not being genuine. It can be easy to trust everyone you speak with but being able to differentiate those who man well and not is n=something that some people do not know how to do. I know a large area of improvement is how long it takes for me to trust. It is in my opinion never good to trust fairly quickly due to that being a very easy way for disloyalty to occur (Rowitz, 2014). I however take a very long time to trust and I see this as an area of improvement because if I needed to work with a partnership in the public health field, I may take a whole before wanting to work with them.

Within the public health field trust is one of, if not the most important thing. The trust between the public health leaders and the public, trust between the researchers/doctors/scientist and the trust between public health leaders themselves. As a person of the community you have no choice to trust what you’re being told by those in power in the public health field, therefore it is so significant that before any information is told to the world up the ladder there is trust with decisions, data and information. Trust determines relationships within the public health system because if there was no trust there would be no relationships. Once trust is broken it is very hard to rebuild it, so having these strong trustworthy foundation with your partner is the only for there to be a successful partnership.
