I’m working on a history multi-part question and need guidance to help me understand better.
Option A: Why were the Europeans able to conquer and colonize large parts of the New World in the early modern period? Why were they unable to conquer and colonize other parts of the New World, Asia, and Africa at the same time? What accounts for this difference?
Option B: What factors made Western expansion possible (cultural, economic, or technological)? Why do you think it was the Europeans who set out on transoceanic expansion and not the Chinese or Indians?
Any option and 400 words minimum, and also a 400-word reply to a discussion.
